- University Partnerships - extensive links with the University of Sydney (Compass program) and New South Wales (Aspire program)
- Sydney Story Factory - a centre for excellence in creative writing, led by Dr Catherine Keenan, 2016 Australian Local Hero of the Year. Sydney Story Factory will be in-residence in 2017 at CBHS with Richard Short as the lead story-teller
- STEM Academy- 1 of 12 schools in NSW Greater Sydney to work with Sydney University.
