Curriculum Overview:
- Depending on the student’s year group, they follow a specific mathematics curriculum:
- Stage 4 (Year 7 and 8): Foundational mathematics.
- Stage 5 (Years 9 and 10): The new syllabus has a Core-Path structure.
- The Core outcomes provide students with the foundation for Mathematics Standard in Stage 6.
- The Path outcomes progress students towards Stage 6 courses, primarily the Advanced and Extension courses.
- Stage 6 (Year 11 and Year 12):
- Mathematics Standard (ATAR): A Year 11 and Year 12 course focusing on essential mathematical skills for informed decision-making in daily life.
- Mathematics Advanced (ATAR): A Year 11 and Year 12 course providing assumed knowledge and a foundation for university mathematics courses.
- Mathematics Extension 1 (ATAR): A Year 11 and Year 12 extended content course.
- Mathematics Extension 2 (ATAR): A challenging Year 12 calculus-based mathematics course for exceptional students.
