Music Enrichment Program 2024
At Canterbury Boys High School, we pride ourselves on creating a culture of excellence with high expectations and where challenges are celebrated.
We are pleased to offer your son the opportunity to apply for a place in the Canterbury Boys High School Music Enrichment Program for 2024.
At Canterbury Boys High School we encourage students who have high potential in music to pursue their musical aspirations via our Music Enrichment Program.
Students who are successful will be given the opportunity to further develop their musicianship and performance abilities within our stage band ensemble and our personalised tuition system. Other opportunities include our jazz, rock and vocal ensembles. This program will provide the platform to continue to develop your son’s interest and talent in music through performance experience across community venues.
How to apply
To apply for the CBHS Music Enrichment Program, we will require the following:
- a 2 minute video audition of the candidate performing on saxophone, trombone, trumpet, keyboard/piano, guitar, bass guitar, drums or voice.
Following the successful completion of the audition process your son will be invited for an interview at the school. At the interview his potential and goals will be discussed and his overall suitability for the program will be reviewed.
